SPECIALTY BLACKS

APPLICATIONS: Paints, plastics, inks, coatings & more

SC119

Pellet

Developed as a cost-effective conductive carbon black. SC119 imparts electrical conductivity to rubber and plastic products while also offering improved processability.

SC159

Pellet

Developed as a highly conductive carbon black. SC159 imparts electrical conductivity to rubber and plastic products at low loading levels.

SR155

Pellet

Developed for tire tread compounds requiring a high degree of reinforcement. SR155 is particularly suited for high-performance applications where excellent tread wear, handling, and traction characteristics are desired.

SR310

Pellet

Developed for applications requiring a higher modulus, and provides improvements in green strength, dispersion, and extrusion properties, with no effect on cure rate, scorch, or compression set.

SR476

Pellet

Developed to exhibit lower hysteresis, better abrasion resistance, and higher modulus characteristics as compared to ASTM N330.

SR711

Powder

Developed for superior performance in extruded goods, belts and hoses, and molded goods. Also used as outstanding pigment for use in plastics, inks, paints, coatings, and other similar materials.

SR311

Powder

Developed for applications where loose carbon blacks are essential for easy dispersion. Its high jetness and improved dispersibility make it ideal for printing inks, plastics, building products, textiles, and other materials requiring superior opacity, UV protection, and weatherability.

SR511

Powder

Developed for superior performance in color applications where high jetness, blue undertone, low ash/grit, and fast dispersibility are critical.

SR750

Pellet

Offers medium jetness and blue undertones. This specialty black also has a low viscosity thus enabling high loadings in most systems.

SR409

Pellet

High structure pelletized carbon black with a surface area that places it between the traditional groups of “tread” and “carcass” blacks. Broad particle size distribution and high structure provide good processing, reduced hysteresis and high physical properties.

SR530

Pellet

Ideal for extruded and injection-molded rubber product applications where smooth extrusion and good surface appearance are desired for reducing product defects.
